The Gideon Doron ISPSA Press

The Gideon Doron ISPSA Press was established by the Israeli Political Science Association in order to achieve some of its goals according to its constitution:

"The association will strive to improve the level of research and teaching and the professional ethics of political scientists in Israel and promotion of the profession. Among other things, it will conduct association meetings and scientific conferences, will send delegates to scientific congresses, get in touch with institutions and scientists abroad, publish literature and newspapers in the field of political science and create and translate professional terms".

ISPSA Press will publish scholarly and academic books in political science, in its broad definition, including textbooks, following the appropriate academic scientific judgment. Submitted manuscripts will be judged by the academic committee of the press, according to rules designed to ensure the academic quality of the manuscripts and their suitability for the purposes of ISPSA and its policies.

Submission for publication:

Those wishing to publish a book with the Israel Political Science Association will submit a "proposal for publication" to the email address ispsa.mail@gmail.com. Proposals are to be printed in Hebrew (and in exceptional cases - in English) on A4 size paper consisting of 1000 word, double-spaced and aligned to the right only.

The proposal will offer a summary of the subject of the book including an outline, and will expound on its uniqueness, originality, scientific contribution, methodology and the intended readership. The proposal must be accompanied by a CV and a list of major publications.

For proposals which are based on an approved doctoral dissertation, an appendix will be attached with the details of the dissertation, the names of the supervisors and the readers' reviews.

Proposals will be read by at least three members of the academic committee and their decision will be transmitted to the authors.
